Since its construction in 1939 for the movie 'Arizona,' Old Tucson has been a popular filming location for Westerns, including classics like 'Rio Bravo' and 'Tombstone.'
A devastating fire caused by an electrical fault destroyed several buildings, but the set was rebuilt and reopened in 1997.
Visitors can experience thrilling Wild West stunt shows, complete with gunfights and daring feats, reminiscent of classic Western films.
In addition to being a movie set, Old Tucson operated as a theme park with attractions and rides until its closure in 2020.
The movie set is situated in the Sonoran Desert, providing a stunning natural backdrop of towering saguaro cacti.
