Riverside Geyser erupts approximately every 5.5 to 7 hours, shooting water up to 75 feet high for about 20 minutes.
The geyser is named 'Riverside' because it is located right on the bank of the Firehole River, offering a picturesque view during eruptions.
When the Firehole River's water level is high, it can delay the geyser's eruptions, making its timing slightly less predictable.
Unlike most geysers that shoot water straight up, Riverside Geyser erupts at an angle, creating a stunning arch of water over the river.
This basin is home to the largest concentration of geysers in the world, including the famous Old Faithful.
