The gate at Universal's Islands of Adventure was designed to resemble the iconic entrance from the 1993 film 'Jurassic Park.'
It serves as the entrance to the Jurassic Park section of the park, which includes rides and attractions based on the film series.
The gate has been welcoming visitors since the park's debut in 1999, making it a longstanding feature of the attraction.
Many visitors make it a point to capture a photo in front of the gate, making it one of the most photographed spots in the park.
The gate marks the transition into a themed environment where guests can experience attractions like the Jurassic Park River Adventure.
